Our environment has been saved from approximately 140,941 lbs. of CO2 released into the atmosphere due to the choices our customers made to use our “Eco-friendly” Natural Hydraulic Lime that replaced Portland Cement as a mortar and stucco's binder.

Thank You!

AIA/CES Lime Presentation

The LimeWorks.US Lime Presentation video is a very informative1-1/2 hour presentation recorded during an actual “Lunch and Learn program” held at a lcoal Pennsylvania architectural office.

The program details the advantages of using Natural Hydraulic Lime (NHL) in historic building conservation, green building applications such as straw bale construction and compares the advantages of using lime binders over modern Portland cement binders for these disciplines.

Now available is a copy of the video to all AIA or non-AIA architects, engineers, conservators, builders, masons and restoration/sustainable design companies who want to remain on the cutting edge of the current wisdom in building technology. This program explains some of the error in commonly adopted new building technology which only accelerates deterioration and creates huge maintenance issues for new or historic buildings. By learning from what works in old world building systems, through material science and practical observation of historic structures worldwide, a pivotal methodology shift will hopefully become the outcome for those who own the video and apply some or all of its principles in their own building pursuits.

The video below is a short clip from the presentation:
